Our client is a leading Cable Distribution company with a network of depots throughout the UK. They are now looking to recruit a Key Account Manager / Internal Sales person to join their sales team based in Erith, Kent.
As the Key Account Manager / Internal Sales person, you will be responsible for generating new business sales as well as managing key accounts and other existing customer accounts for the depot, the role will involve: -
Negotiating and confirming special discounts and facilities with customers.
Liaise with the General Manager regarding pricing, discounts and special arrangements with customers.
Budget and achieve targets with respect to Company Sales.
Responsible for supervising the activities of Sales representatives with respect to pricing, complaints procedure, discipline, timekeeping etc.
Develop and maintain good contact with customer accounts directly and via sales representatives.
Encourage staff with particular attention to training and in-house promotion.
Awareness of new developments in markets trends and competitor activity.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, enthusiastic sales person who has a proven sales background and is confidant in their sales ability. Ideally the successful candidate will have good communication skills and a confidant telephone manner.
You must have previously worked in Electrical Wholesale of Cable distribution to be considered for this role.
